Sonali Chaudhari

Born and brought up in New Delhi, Sonali graduated from the Delhi College of Art in 1999. She likes to experiment with texture and colour.

“My paintings depict the strength and beauty of the human spirit in some way or the other. As a woman, I believe in overcoming all obstacles and triumphing over all adversity in the journey of life. My artworks highlight the transformation of the human spirit from bondage to freedom, from darkness to light, and from the depths of despair to the pinnacle of bliss. Emerging in all her strength and beauty, the feminine spirit within my heart moves forward to embrace life anew. It is this journey that is highlighted in my artworks,” says the artist.

Sonali has exhibited at many reputed art galleries in India and abroad. Her works are held in the collections of many private collectors and organisations.
